This month’s newsletter includes the best memes, what is AI, CAPTCHAs, GOTM (reccomended by my brother) (roblox) and more on the surprise. Lets start off with CAPTCHAs. Enjoy!
CAPTCHA stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart and it is what it says. It is a test to be able to tell bots and humans apart. This is used to reduce the amount of bots using the internet. Captchas have many varieties. These are text-based CAPTCHAs, reCAPTCHAs, 3d CAPTCHAs, Mathmatical CAPTCHAs and image-based CAPTCHAs. You can see what these look like below.

I have recently been re-watching Brooklyn-99 for the second time and I found the last 2 memes really funny.
Now, What is AI. This could become a controversial topic. AI doesnt exist, although people think it does because of the mislabeling of popular algorithmic programs such as ChatGPT or DeepSeek. These are just algorithms, similar to TikTok or Youtube Shorts. There a a couple defenitions for ‘algorithms‘. These include the step-by-step process of something/instructions that can be completed autonomously. The other defenition is the one we are focusing on. A set of data that can be changed to match a person’s likings/activity. An example of this is TikTok. When you watch a video and do activities such as watching several times or liking, the algorithm for that app notes that and then will give you more content that is similar. This is similar to AI. AI remembers what people have asked in the past and will give similar answers. To start it off, the creator will have given multiple prompts for it to answer and for the answers to stem from. We are close to Dumb AI but very far from Smart AI. Dumb AI consists of applications ect similar to ChatGPT or Deepseek. Smart AI is the idea of things such as robots. There have been arguments about the robots that have already been made by Tesla. Tesla have made a ‘robot‘ that will be able to do chores such as wash dishes and more. This was, however, fake. In many videos, you can see somebody, just out of frame, who is using special gloves to control the movements of the robot in the center of the stage.
Enough on that, lets move topic.
Now for GOTM (Game Of The Month). This month, I asked my brother to choose a game. His decision was Roblox. Roblox is a game where you can play custom creations made by the community. You can chat, change your avatar and much more. They have also implemented voice chat more recently. Roblox isnt just one application though. On PCs, you can also use something called Roblox Studio along with a website called Roblox Creator Hub. these allow you to make amazing games that can be shared with the users on Roblox. With the rising of VR (Virtual Reality), Roblox have also made them accesible to VR users, with some games even being VR based, meaning you cant play it on other devices. There is a popular game that has recently appeared called ‘Grow A Garden‘. It is popular, so much that it has been on BBC News. It was created by a 16 year old with the roblox username of “BMWLux“. It was then passed to a studio to further deelop it with him. There is no more time to discuss this topic though.
I have more info on the special secret. This month, I was going to show you the updated menu and I was revealing the credits page however I am having some issues and will be unable to show anything. I will show you the two I was going to show you, in the next newsletter.
I am still working on this game. You will be able to get the game on itch.io when it is finished. There will also be a free demo for the game. On itch.io, you will be able to donate on the free demo page and when the full game is released, it will be paid.
